Where to eat on Tortola?

If you want to dine out on Tortola, you'll find plenty of choices. Whether you prefer a casual meal at a bar or a romantic candlelit dinner at a more luxurious restaurant, the island offers something for everyone.

For a great start to your day, consider having breakfast at D' Best Cup from Omar's, located in Frenchman's Cay. If a delicious steak is what you're after, then make sure to visit the Coal Pot at Carrot Bay, expertly managed by Eveline. If pizza in an elegant setting piques your interest, then Georgio's on Main Street will perfectly cater to your craving. For an exquisite evening dining experience, the Brandywine Estate Restaurant remains an excellent option. Remember, these are just a few great dining experiences available.

Indigo Beach House

Indigo Beach House is a unique, intimate spot in Cane Garden Bay. The menu offers a range of delicious small dishes perfect for sharing, set within a charming location right on the waterfront. If you wish, a table can be reserved for you on the beach. The restaurant is conveniently situated near the western end of Cane Garden Bay. 1748 Restaurant Long Bay Resort

The 1748 Restaurant is a gem set at Long Bay's beachfront within an 18th-century rum distillery and is an integral part of Long Bay Resort. It's the ideal spot for those seeking a refined lunch or dinner experience. You will be dining in an ambiance that blends a relaxed, elegant beach setting. Here, you can enjoy quality food while your feet are in the sand. The location captures an old-world charm, complemented by its tasteful decor. Right on the beach, you'll find a beautiful tiki beach bar where you can get excellent cocktails or a refreshing cold beer. Just a brief 10-minute drive from Pelican Peak, the 1748 Restaurant is highly recommended by us.

The Paradise Club

The Paradise Club at Cane Garden Bay is an excellent choice for a quick lunch. They offer nice salads and great roti, all of which are flavorsome and reasonably priced. The best part? It's located right on a white sand beach. Additionally, the staff is super friendly, making your experience even more enjoyable. Don't miss the chance to capture a memorable photo with the iconic swing featuring the  "I Love BVI" sign. No reservations are needed, so you can drop by whenever you please.

Stoutt's Lookout Bar

On your way home from Cane Garden Bay, you must make a pit stop at Stoutt's Lookout Bar. The view of the bay is truly breathtaking, accompanied by a refreshing breeze that's perfect after a beach day. Cold beers and snacks are readily available. This bar is absolutely worth a stop when en route.

D' Coal-Pot

Carrot Bay, just a 15-minute drive from Pelican Peak. This charming eatery offers an excellent menu featuring authentic Caribbean food, delicious fresh lobsters, and tasty steaks made from high-quality meat. For an unforgettable dining experience, opt for a seat outside on the deck, where you have a beautiful view of the island Jost van Dyk. To reach D'Coal-Pot, follow the route over Zion Hill, make a right turn onto Shore Road, pass by the Sugar Mill, and continue over the hill into Carrot Bay. You'll find the restaurant approximately half a mile on your left. While reservations aren't necessary, it's advisable to call Eveline if you wish to secure a spot on the deck. Located right at the end of Soper's Hole at Frenchman's Cay, Omar's is an excellent choice for island-style lunches and dinners. The menu features island favorites like rotis, burgers, pizza, and wings, but it's Omar's curries that have truly made a name for the place. We highly recommend trying the fried cauliflower—it's my personal favorite! The location is perfect, right on the dock, where you can watch the boats and take in all the bustling activity of a yacht harbor.

This place is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and it's conveniently located in Soper's Hole at Frenchman's Cay. Now, it's no coincidence that Omar is also the boss here. They servie delicious espressos, lattes, macchiatos, and cappuccinos!

When you're not sipping on Omar's top-notch coffee, you can enjoy a delightful breakfast or lunch in a cozy atmosphere at a beautiful old building. The whole area radiates old-world Caribbean charm and good vibes. Best of all, you don't need a reservation - bring your appetite and love for coffee!

Tramonti

Tramonti is a romantic dining spot nestled in Apple Bay. Located opposite the Sugar Mill Restaurant, this place serves Italian cuisine in a beautiful setting right on the waterfront, providing stunning views of Jost Van Dyke Island. Sugar Mill Restaurant

The Old Sugar Mill Restaurant, located on the road to Carrot Bay, is another excellent choice for a more formal dining experience. It's situated in the same area as Tramonti Restaurant, just on the opposite side of the road. The dining area is nestled within an old sugar mill, exuding a colonial atmosphere. Bananakeet Restaurant

This restaurant arguably offers the best view in all of the BVI. Located halfway up Windy Hill, it's just a short 15-minute drive from Pelican Peak. Here, you can expect a spectacular and beautiful sunset every evening. The restaurant serves an appealing menu featuring Caribbean Fusion cuisine. For reservations, please call: 1-284-494-5842.

Sebastian's Seaside Restaurant

This is a delightful spot for a simple, local lunch or dinner. They offer a continental and Caribbean cuisine blend featuring seafood, steaks, and vegetarian dishes. But be forewarned – they occasionally host bingo or karaoke nights. You might even catch the lively sounds from the deck near Pelican Peak! The venue includes a pool for the little ones and even a swing and a climbing tree to keep them entertained. No reservations are required.

Georgio's and Fantasia by Georgio's

Located on Main Street in Road Town, this restaurant offers an upscale, elegant Italian dining experience. A little hidden gem; you'll need to venture upstairs to find it. Once inside, you'll be taken in by the beautiful decor, fantastic food, and the warm hospitality of Giorgio, the host. The pizzas are arguably the best on Tortola, complemented by an excellent appetizer menu and a well-curated wine selection. It's truly a beautiful spot. Brandywine Estate Restaurant

Set within the Brandywine Estate, this location offers a garden lounge setting with stunning views and a beautiful breeze.
